Office Hours Master Post: Big Clump of Offices; Saturday [09/25].
It was that weekend where that floor of the school that contained all the teachers' offices actually got some (or any, really, for most weeks) modicum of use and traffic, and on that floor of the school that contained all the teachers' offices was a particular block of offices occupied by a small army of very diverse instructors that all shared on thing in common.
And, no, we weren't talking about them all being stuck holding office hours for potential parental (or otherwise) visitors to take advantage of, but there was that, too.
[[ look, I have eight teachers. If that doesn't call for PW OCD, I don't know what does. Please hold for said OCD! OCD is up! SP warning (unforuntately!) in effect! But here is where you'll find all my teachers san Summer for their office hours! ]]

Office #21: Amaya Blackstone [09/25].
So at least it was unlikely that if anyone did come in, there'd be something flying at their heads as she worked.
She did, occasionally, toss a ball back and forth in a rhytmic patterned against the wall shared with Rosa's office, and a few thunks would respond back, and she'd snort at their secretly coded messages and get back to work, and try not to be a little worried that the expected sake interruptions from the office next door were a little less frequent than she was expecting.
Office #22: Shunsui Kyōraku [09/25]
"Don't worry," Nanao assured him as she shifted and organzied through her own stack of papers, most of which Shunsui was convinced were blank and only used as an intimidation tactic, "if anyone shows up to discuss your students, we will give you privacy, but there's not point in wasting time when we have it at our disposal, Captain."
Jūshirō was just going to sit aside, enjoy his tea, and only beam at Shunsui unabashedly whenever his friend sent a disparaging, pleading look his way.
Office #23; Gladiolus Amicitia [09/25].
Still. It was a good time to catch up on some of his reading, even if there was, occasionally, a worrisome sound coming from the office next door. If he wasn't mistaken, it sounded an awful lot like a man being smacked upside the head with a very thick stack of papers....
Office #25; Prince Sidon [09/25].
That's all you really need.
And, sure, Sidon would have much preferred to hold his office hours down by the docks or at the beach or something, but he wanted to keep up with and respect the tradition of it all!
Plus, Prompto was being a very good friend by someties jogging down the hall from his office on the other end of it and spritzing him a few times with a water bottle as he checked in, which wasn't necessary, of course, but it was an amusing little joke that helped break up the motonony, all the same!
Re: Office #25; Prince Sidon [09/25].
So Prince Sidon was the first teacher she was meeting that day.
Alara had not really told her what this class was about or about her teacher, so Solana had no idea what to expect.
“Hello?” She called with a tentative knock on the door.

"It has been a while, though," he admitted, perhaps a bit more solemnly. "I might need to practice some deep dives should I ever plan a visit! The pressure down at the ocean floor can be quite considerable, after all!"

handwavey subject because the show never mentioned it, I'm in the Honours program at University and I hope to eventually pursue my PHD, but it's a field where there's room for plenty of exciting options to research," she told him with a smile.Office #26: Rosa Diaz [09/25].
At least here, she could keep up the tradition she and Blackstone had of morse code messages through the wall that they shared, and she did have the opportunity to start going over schematics and probably talking with some of the other teachers, especially those surrounding her, about the Halloween Heist. Because, yeah, she may not be teaching BABSG this semester, but that just meant she really couldn't skip it this year!
It was just a matter of figuring out how to wedge that into a math cirriculum effectively....
Re: Office #26: Rosa Diaz [09/25].
"Hiiiiiii, Rooosaaaaa," she drawled in her best attempt to seem innocent, unassuming, and generally harmless and well-intentioned. "How's it goiiiiing?"
Re: Office #26: Rosa Diaz [09/25].
probablymake it out of his whole thing scott-free and without anything annoying happening. And then this showed up on her door.
Rosa looked up and kept looking at Summer for a good, long moment of silence, hopefully long enough to make her squirm a little before finally just asking, simple, to the point, with a faint hint of 'this better be good or else I will be throwing a knife at you' underneath it all: "What do you want, Smith?"
Re: Office #26: Rosa Diaz [09/25].
Summer chuckled a little sheepishly, holding up her hands a little in defense. "Okay, so, I know the moose kind of did you dirty this semester by giving me your class, and I do feel bad about that," although you had to admit, she was pretty good at it and it was a totally legit position for her!, "but...what if I told you that I could make it up to you?"
Pause for dramatic effect. Smirk for the camera.
"And it has to do with your Halloween Heist."
Re: Office #26: Rosa Diaz [09/25].
"Shut the door," she said, after a overly long, drawn out silence. "I'll grab the squirrel rum."
She was already in the desk drawer, pulled it out, and clunk the bottle on her desk, leaning into it as she glared intently at Summer.
"Now talk."
Office #27: Ignis Scientia [09/25].
Needless to say, between all of that (it was a code! He was sure of it now; perhaps he could even begin to break it?), he had plenty to do, in addition to also planning a menu for dinner tonight since they'd have both Iris and Noctis with them this evening, as well as wondering if any guests of his adult students would drop in, in which case he was definitely practicing his how to put this delicately approaches...
Re: Office #27: Ignis Scientia [09/25].
After a while Doc left Goose’s office, being a gourmet chef himself, he had heard that Walsh had signed Goose up for a cooking class and well .. the idea of Goose cooking was something he had to see for himself how he was doing, even if he had his suspicions that the teacher had his hands full with Goose as a student.
Also Doc was going to have to correct Goose’s kitchen before he returned home, he had never seen a fridge full of so many takeout containers.
He found the office at the other end of the floor and knocked, “hello, I’m Doctor Walter Hartford, ‘Doc’,” he introduced himself, “I’m visiting Shane Gooseman for the weekend. I believe he’s in your cooking class,”
Re: Office #27: Ignis Scientia [09/25].
"Doctor Hartford," Ignis stood from where he sat at his desk, smoothed out his jacket, and gestured toward one of the chairs in front. "Ignis Scientia. A pleasure to meet you. Please, have a seat. Mr. Gooseman is indeed one of my cooking students, and I daresay the experience has been quite illuminating for the both of us thus far."

"What sort of service," he then ventured, with more than just a conversation interest, "if I may ask?"
It turned out that their little conclave of wayward chefs was quite the militant one, it would seem!
Re: Office #27: Ignis Scientia [09/25].
“I serve with the Galaxy Rangers,” Doc explained, “series 5 taskforce, resident computer expert and hacker but I consider myself a man of many talents including cooking if I do say so myself,” he said with a smile.

....a visit to Skywalker was never not a good time, though, right? And he didn't know this other new guy yet, so maybe....!
It would figure, though, that as soon as he left, someone might show up, so maybe he'd better not? He didn't know! He just had way too much energy right now! Maybe he shouldn't have bummed that Ebony off of Ignis after all...

SP is very likely for all my pups today, but, gosh darnit, I am gonna try!
