77 Godiva Street; Saturday Morning [01/23].
What a glorious morning it was! And Rosa was in a beaming, glowing, gorgeous mood to go with it. There was a spring in her step, a smile on her face, and a song in her heart, because how could there not be? Who needed to long for happily ever after when happily ever after was clearly right there in front of you?
And that song in her heart translated into the song filling the kitchen, as Rosa, dressed in a pink as cheerful and bright as she was, set to not only making breakfast, but also singing the Breakfast Song, which everyone knew made everything taste better, a song that narrated exactly what she was doing it as she did it and how wonderful it all was.
And her dearest friend Anna, who had been her faithful companion since she was just a small girl, was joining in on the song as well.
To Rosa, there was no voice sweeter than her dear Anna's, and that their voices were in perfect harmony. But to probably anyone else with ears, it was probably just howling noise.

He all but tiptoed into the kitchen, afraid of what he might find.
He watched for a moment.
Then he came to the only possible conclusion.
"Who are you, and what have you done to Rosa?"
no subject
And, with that, Rosa danced over to him--quite literally, there was absolutely a turn that sent the skirt of her dress billowing out prettily before landing her in a perfect position to set one hand on his shoulders as she leaned in to give him a chaste little kiss on the cheek, complete with a pop of her leg.
"But don't worry," she assured him fondly. "Breakfast is almost ready. I wouldn't want to send my dear husband off to work on an empty stomach!"
And then she was twirling her way back to the stove, where everything was just as she left it and would never even dream of getting burnt while she'd stepped away!
no subject
Probably.
So Miguel was going to take out his phone instead. "Hey, uh...hon? Smile."
no subject
"In case you start to miss me while you're away and hard at work, sweetheart?" she asked.
With fluttering eyelashes.
And a perfect flip of a pancake.
no subject
Well, at least this Rosa was more proficient at cooking? Not that she was ever bad, but that flip was impressive.
He'd still prefer the other Rosa back. He wondered if hitting her over the head would knock her out of it.
...he probably shouldn't try. But would usual-Rosa forgive him if he didn't try?
Maybe he'd wait until after coffee to decide.
"What do you plan on doing today?"

"That sounds great," he said, nodding. "You've got a lot of...can-do."

It would be fine! She knew the perfect song, and Anna would help, too! Probably some birds and squirrels, too! It would barely be any work at all!

Please don't tell Miguel the dog would be making his outfit.
no subject
With the help of the dog.
Who was, to be fair, being surprisingly calm and quiet and obedient at the moment.
And might wink at Miguel if he happened to look her way.
no subject
"Of course. How silly of me."
He was going to regret this, he knew.
"You go right ahead with that."
So sue him, he was curious.
...had the dog just winked?
"I should probably be getting to work."
no subject
"Oh, but your breakfast has just finished!" Rosa noted, because it was! What perfect timing! And she twirled effortlessly to grab a plate and then twirled back to the stove to add the food to it. "Unless...I suppose I could just pack it up to go. I wouldn't want you to be late..."
no subject
He really needed to get out of here.
